The NBA has a storied history of great players, likable guys and clutch shooters. Stephen Curry truly fits in every category. The NBA Champion, former league MVP, community advocate and adoring father and husband is clearly not done adding to his legacy.

On Monday night, Curry became the all-time points leader for the Golden State Warriors, passing the great Wilt Chamberlin. The record was sealed in dramatic fashion, as Curry scored 53 points in Monday's 116- 107 win over the Denver Nuggets.

17,818 points is Curry’s current point total.

The 33-year old sure first ballot Hall of Famer is not done. He’s not even finished with the current NBA season. Less injury, it is not unusual for Curry to effortlessly complete an array of difficult long distance shots. With 18 games remaining in the regular season, Curry could very well net another 300-400 points.

This scoring accomplishment for Curry is all the more impressive during a very active “player movement” era in the current NBA. He has said on several occasions that he only wants to wear one jersey in his NBA career. Whether the Golden State Warriors are in contention for a championship or just trying to inch into the competitive Western Conference playoff picture - Curry is a leader and a positive voice for his team.
