Arlington - The Dallas Wings (13-9) earned their fifth consecutive win Saturday night, in a 98-84 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks (7-15).

The scoring threat of Arike Ogunbowale, Satou Sabally and Natasha Howard has become routine for Dallas this season. Saturday evening was no different. Howard led all scorers with 28 points. Sabally scored 26 points and Ogunbowale had 25 points. Howard and Sabally each pulled down 11 rebounds, earning double doubles.

“We’re just in that winning mentality and it’s contagious, right? Players are having fun and want to win” says Dallas Coach Latricia Trammell. “Home floor means something to them, and they knew we had to take care of business at home.”

With tonight’s victory, the Wings maintained their second-best home record in the league (8-2).

The Wings shot a season high 53.9% (41-76) from the field Saturday night. They also forced 12 LA turnovers and scored 26 points off of them.

Dallas has another challenge on Tuesday, when the Connecticut Sun come to town.
