When designers imitate life and fascinate the wildest of fashion dreams - fashion shows are magical.

Sunday evening, Esé Azénabor and Daniel Mofor revealed “The Wedding Collection” at The Ritz Carlton Dallas. Before an audience of excited fashion enthusiasts - the African-born designers shared innovative new pieces. They did not disappoint.

Azénabor, a Nigerian-born Canadian is by far one of the most daring and artistic designers of today. Her artistic style is undeniable and her obvious devotion to detail is unparalleled.

Her latest collection Woman X Power debuted her first bridal couture collection. The pieces revealed during Sunday’s show were inspired by her newborn daughter.

Azénabor is never shy about sharing her story of transition. Rooted in a family grounded in medicine, law and engineering - she decided to forego expectations and follow her true passion.

Upon moving to Dallas to pursue a Master’s Degree at Southern Methodist University, Azénabor began designing handmade dresses for herself, her family and her friends. Since 2012, the self-taught designer has followed her heart and used her hands to make authentic ideas come to fruition.

Daniel Mofor is the brains behind Don Morphy.

Mofor, the Cameroonian native absolutely sang the praises of both his mother and his sister Sunday evening. He credits his sister with making the day-to-day operations run smoothly and says that his mother has always been a constant motivator and supporter.

Mofor give men’s fashion a charismatic edge. His suits are bold, creative, appealing and have the ability to chisel any man.

While his name is transcending the industry, Mofor still considers himself a student of fashion. He travels across the globe each year to attend menswear shows. He wants to ensure that he is not only giving his clientele the best of the latest trends, but also a unique fashionable experience enveloped in his passion.

The Don Morphy label has captured the attention of countless brands, entities and publications. Mofor has worked with the likes of Emmitt Smith, Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard and many more.

Sunday evening was another expression of a growing fashion channel in the greater Dallas area. The perfect collaboration of Azénabor and Mofor left the audience excitedly stunned and wanting more.

Azénabor made even the most reluctant of brides envision “magazine-ready weddings.” Mofor inspired every man in the audience to channel his inner fashion-icon.

Even guest host - DJ Spinderella admitted that “The Wedding Collection” has inspired her upcoming wedding.
