Viola is Back on the Big Screen
Something amazing just popped up on my television screen.
Viola Davis in all of her savage How to Get Away With Murder essence is taking over our theaters in November. This time - she plays the lead in ‘Widows,’ a film directed by Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave).
“Widows” follows the lives of four women with absolutely nothing in common other than the fact that each of their husbands left a debt behind because of their criminal activities.
This thriller is set in Chicago and boasts a cast of Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell and Robert Duvall.
I don’t know about you, but the combination of this cast, the Chicago setting and Viola Davis has me in a state of great anticipation.
“Widows” is in theaters around the country November 16.
