Wiley Survives Friday Night Battle at Naaman Forest

Garland - For much of Homecoming Friday night, the Rangers of Naaman Forest played catch up against the Pirates of Wiley. After a spirited final quarter to tie the game, Naaman Forest watched Wiley seal the victory with a second-chance field goal and a 27 - 24 victory.

The two teams appeared headed for overtime when a roughing the kicker penalty gave Wylie’s kicker a second opportunity to win the game. He did just that.

A host of mistakes by both teams made it anyone’s game in the final moments. Wylie would go on to finish the game with a total of 345 yards. Naaman Forest finished with 337 yards.
