Arlington - The Dallas Wings had seven players to score in double digits Tuesday night, as the home team defeated the Atlanta Dream 101-74.

Teaira McCowan absolutely dominated the post, scoring 12 points and collecting 16 rebounds. Atlanta had no match for either McCowan or fellow center Kelani Brown, who also scored 12 points.

Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray and Cheyenne Parker collectively scored 55 of Atlanta’s 74 points. The trio didn’t get much help from the Atlanta bench and found themselves in an early hole.

As fans have come to expect - Arike Ogunbowale and Satou Sabally led the charge for Dallas in the close out game. Ogunbowale had 20 points and seven assists. Sabally contributed a solid 13 points and six assists.

To complete an impressive offensive outing, Dallas had extra scoring from both Awak Kueir and Odyssey Sims. Kuier took full advantage of her 20 minutes on the floor, scoring 13 points, collecting six rebounds and emphatically blocking three Atlanta shots. Kuier also had two steals.

For the second consecutive game, Sims not only controlled the Dallas offense while on the floor, but she also scored eight important points. Natasha Howard quietly inched towards a double- double, scoring 10 points and pulling down nine rebounds.

The total team effort by the Wings sends the team to Las Vegas to face the reigning WNBA Champions in round two.
