Arlington - The Dallas Wings (3-1) notched their third victory in four outings on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Lynx (0-5).

While Dallas’ Arike Ogunbowale - the league’s leading scorer was responsible for 21 points, she also had a great deal of offensive help from her teammates in the 94-89 victory.

Satou Sabally had an incredible stat line, consisting of 23 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals. Natasha Howard added 25 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

After an impressive first quarter for Minnesota, in which the team scored 31 points - the scoring ability of Dallas simply became too much. The Wings led 52-46 at the half.

Minnesota did manage to keep the game close late in the second half, thanks in part to the outside shooting of Kayla McBride and the driving ability of Tiffany Mitchell. McBride and Mitchell scored 18 and 17 points respectively.

Dallas guard Crystal Dangerfield scored all nine of her points in the crunch time of the fourth quarter, when Minnesota seemed determined to make a run. A welcomed siting for Dallas fans was the successful debut of Kalani Brown, who signed with the team early Tuesday. Brown scored 12 points in her 27 minutes of play. She was especially aggressive rebounding the ball.

The Lynx hope to earn their first win back on home on Thursday against Connecticut. Dallas plays at Washington this Friday.
