Dallas Women Headline HEALING Tour for Women
There is no denying the fact that many people roam this earth smiling, with traumas and stories that keep them from sleeping most nights. So many of us have come so far in life, but progressed so little when it comes to coping with the events and dynamics of our lives that pain us the most.
Just when it seems like the art of maintaining and surviving is your own hill to climb, in walks Spiritual Transformation Coach Benisha Jones-Bollin. So just how can the hair stylist, business owner, wife and mother have time to help those outside of her home? Her agenda is public and her intentions are clear. She has devoted the last few years of her life to creating a safe haven for real women, dealing with real problems to convene and share realistic solutions.
Unless you make it a practice to avoid social media, you have in some form been introduced to the Street Chronicles Tour, which was created by Jones-Bollin to introduce women to the importance of embracing their healing journey. Jones-Bollin has teamed up with other women from around the greater Dallas area and collectively these women are embracing their struggles, as they encourage other women to do the same.
Bollin-Jones is joined at her speaking engagements by longtime business owners and authors respectively, Trudi Green, Kea Garrett, Andrea Jackson, Amber Pinkney, Diona Foulks, Rikki Burke and Crystal Parker.
These women have embraced their struggles from childhood into young adulthood, acknowledging that such struggles have caused them to make poor decisions that have indeed permanently changed the direction of their lives.
What makes this tour unique is the fact that in all of their vulnerable revelations, these women share how they have individually transformed their negatives into positives. Positive energy, an abundance of self-love and a system of faith and belief are all intricacies of their collective message. Their respective stories include being imprisoned, losing their beloved mothers, being shot and left for dead via domestic violence and so many more unfathomable testimonies.
“The goal is to get women empowered to do both the possible and the impossible,” says Jones-Bollin. “I want women to recognize the gift within and trust God's assignment with it.”
Before we can get to where we need to be as people, and especially as women – we must realize and accept our assignments in life. The women of the Street Chronicles Tour want to help women dust off the traumas with some stellar healing techniques.
Meditation is heavily utilized – a practice that according to Jones-Bollin is something that most African American women need. They teach women how to handle their anxiety, by incorporating crystal energy healing, Reiki, color therapy, journaling, altar rituals (allows you to comfortably speak to your angels/ancestors), spiritual cleansings with herbal remedies, prayer, fasting and many more mindful approaches.
“We’re implementing the ways of our tradition and combining these with what we do to be effective,” insists Jones-Bollin.
Personal grief and growing pains have inspired Jones-Bollin to pursue her efforts in the Dallas community and beyond. Fortunately enough for her, she is surrounded by family, friends and women who also see the value in helping women grow. The Dallas launch sold-out to over 120 men and women. The tour moves on to Indianapolis in July, Detroit in October and Atlanta in November.
“My goal since 2017 has been to help 1000 women live their lives in peaceful purpose,” says Jones-Bollin. “I plan to do so with this tour, as well as the Street Chronicles Millennial Tour that will launch this summer.”
Find Jones-Bollin still in the trenches, creating healing circles for women at any given time and speaking to a room full of women as often as possible.
