Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle has died after being gunned down Sunday afternoon in front of his Los Angeles store - Marathon Clothing. According to multiple reports, the rapper was shot up to six times.
Two other men are reportedly in serious condition following the shooting.
Hussle's debut studio album "Victory Lap" was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy Awards. The artist’s growing popularity can be credited to his particular interest in his Los Angeles neighborhood. Not only was the talented artist noticed for his lyrical ability, but he was also appreciated for his dedication to building in the inner-city.
Hussle and longtime girlfriend - actress Lauren London recently graced GQ Magazine in a very popular editorial spread. Together they have a two year old child. Hussle also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
A couple of hours before the shooting, Hussle, 33, whose real name was Ermias Ashgedom tweeted, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
