There are no real breaks when it comes to inspiration and artistry. For self-taught designer Esé Azénabor, sharing her innovative designs with the fashion industry has become second nature.

Sunday evening, Azénabor proudly showcased The Paradise Collection before an excited Hall of State Fair Park audience.

The Third Annual Woman X Power fashion show directly benefits Action With Compassion Dallas, Inc, a nonprofit organization created by Kim Olusonya. The founder, entrepreneur and domestic violence survivor of the popular organization walked in the show after explaining to the audience the purpose of Action With Compassion .

Olusonya created Action with Compassion Dallas to not only fight against domestic violence, but to assist women with regaining a sense of dignity and self-worth through feeling beautiful.

The evenings’ show was split into two segments – the first featuring wedding designs by Azénabor. Many women walking in the show actually wore their personal wedding dresses, designed by Azénabor.

The Paradise Collection merges art and culture in the most authentic fashion. The designs revealed Sunday night were extravagant and classy; artistic and imaginative and of course bold and adventurous. Several prominent figures participated in Sunday’s fashion presentation, including LeeAnn Locken, DeDe McGuire, Claudia Jordan, Jenna Jenovich, JoJo Herda, Sonya Mofor, Kathryn Dunn and many more.

Azénabor is now responsible for 13 successful collections, including Haute Couture Bridal Collections. To celebrate with the audience during the finale, Azénabor’s husband presented her with a bouquet of flowers and their six-month-old daughter.

“There is nothing like the experience of being a mother,” said Azénabor. “My daughter continues to inspire me.”
