Hot Springs Offers Charm and Relaxation
There is something special to be said about a place with relaxing waters, calming mountains and a theme of relaxation at every corner.
Hot Springs, Arkansas could not be any more opposite of a big and busy Dallas. This is why myself and about 30 ladies from my church congregation traded in the hustle and bustle of the big city for a weekend of tranquility.
Every place that we consulted Google about reported to be a simple two to three mile trek. With the assistance of our courtesy Embassy Suites shuttle service, we found ourselves walking the downtown strip and in neighboring communities of our convenient hotel within minutes.
Within the very walkable city is limitless art, live street music, family-owned diners, boutiques and original candy and soda shops.
While this is my third visit to the city, I finally have a clear understanding of its purpose. Tourists come here seeking both charm and rejuvenation. There is great history in the healing waters of Hot Springs; love woven into handmade garments and appreciation for all things vintage and antique.
In Hot Springs, one can literally enter a business to purchase a meal, inhale incense, explore unique crystals and engage in a full spa service. It just feels great here.
